Terms of Service for Unjunk LLC

Welcome to Unjunk LLC. By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or booking our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

Unjunk LLC provides professional junk removal, hauling, and disposal services. We reserve the right to refuse service for any item or location that we deem unsafe or outside our scope of work.

Hazardous Materials (Strict Policy)

We do not haul hazardous waste. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Biohazardous materials, medical waste, or chemicals.
  • Propane tanks, gasoline, motor oil, or lead-acid batteries.
  • Wet paint (unless solidified per local regulations).
  • Asbestos-containing materials.

2. Pricing and Estimates

  • Estimates: All online or over-the-phone quotes are non-binding estimates based on the information provided.
  • Final Quote: A final, binding price will be provided on-site after our team assesses the actual volume, weight, and labor required.
  • Minimum Loads: We maintain a minimum arrival fee of $75.00

3. Payments and Billing

  • Payment Processor: All digital payments are processed securely via Stripe.
  • Due Date: Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • Authorization: By providing your card information, you authorize Unjunk LLC to charge the final agreed-upon amount for services rendered.

4. Scheduling and Cancellations

  • Arrival Windows: We provide 2-hour arrival windows. While we strive for punctuality, factors like traffic or previous job complexity may cause delays. We will notify you via text/call if we are running behind.
  • Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment for any bookings made more then a day in advance, as well as any cancelations for a booked and confirmed same day priority pickup, are subject to a cancellation fee of $75.00

5. Customer Responsibilities & Access

  • Access: The customer must provide safe and legal access to the items being removed.
  • Ownership: You represent and warrant that you are the legal owner of the items being removed or have the explicit authority of the owner to dispose of them.
  • Preparation: Items should be disconnected from water, gas, or electrical lines prior to our arrival (e.g., washers, dryers, refrigerators).

6. Liability and Damage

  • Property Protection: Our team takes great care, but Unjunk LLC is not liable for "minor" incidental damage to driveways, lawns, walkways, or interior walls during the removal of extra heavy or oversized items in comparison the the path we are instructed to take for the removal of the property to be hauled away.
  • Limited Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by California law, Unjunk LLC’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the service.

7. Communications (SMS & Email)

By booking a service, you agree to receive automated service updates and marketing communications.

  • Opt-Out: Text "STOP" to cancel SMS or click "Unsubscribe" in emails.
  • Message & Data Rates: Standard carrier rates may apply.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of [San Joaquin or relevant county, California.

9. Changes to Terms

Unjunk LLC reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
